A little help for your masterpiece

  1. Pick a picture. Upload a PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF. Crop around the important part so it fills the 61 × 61 canvas. GIFs use their first frame.
  2. Make it pixel. Try Balanced or Crisp detail, fine-tune your colors, and choose a palette. Every solid pixel uses one of its colors.
  3. Copy at your own pace. Pick a color to highlight its pixels. Hover to see its column and row. Zoom in and set a grid color that’s easy for you to see.
  4. Add your own touches. Pick a color, then use the pencil. Undo a change any time. The eraser makes pixels transparent.
  5. Save your work. Download a tiny pixel-perfect image, a big picture, or a guide with a color key. Changing conversion settings creates a new version and resets touch-ups.
